Mark Thomas Paid by Police!
Ok, so it's not exactly that comedian/activist/superhero '''Mark Thomas''' is employed by the police, it's actually better than that - he's won a £1,200 payout for being unfairly stopped and searched for having an 'over-confident attitude' (what does that remind you of I wonder?). As ever he does the right thing - some money is going to charity and the rest will go towards costs of his next tour which he says will be advertised with posters thanking the police for their financial support.
