'''Jack White''' has been a very busy bunny, giving a bunch of girls some vintage instruments and forming The Black Belles. They're on his fantastic new label Third Man Records which also features '''Wanda Jackson''' covering Amy Winehouse and bettering her as well as one of my favourite artists, '''Dan Sartain''' with a 7" only single - makes me want to set up my record decks for the first time in years just to hear these.
I still can't get enough of Nataly and Jack from Pomplamoose.
Not enough yet? '''Gorillaz''' new album incoming and sounding excellent - it has an amazing list of guests including the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble who I only discovered today are 8 brothers, sons of one of '''Sun-Ra''''s Arkestra players and one other.
