Save BBC 6music & BBC Asian Network
BBC 6Music is far and away the best radio station there is at the moment. Don't believe me? Tune in - you can hear it wherever you are in the world and I guarantee there will be something you like be it '''Jarvis Cocker''', '''Guy Garvey''', '''Bruce Dickinson''' or '''Huey Morgan''''s shows or Craig Charles' Soul/Funk show, Stuart Maconie's Freak Zone, Lauren Laverne, Cerys Matthews - if your mind and ears are open then you'll love it. So it figures that the station that was set up with two distinct aims - keep alive '''John Peel''''s ethos of playing new music no matter the genre and create a reason to move to digital broadcasting (I love the way I can look at my radio and have it tell me what the track playing is) is being mooted for closure. Please help to keep it alive by signing the Save BBC 6music & BBC Asian Network Petition. It probably won't do any good but it's worth trying.
